My name is Melissa. I am currently a student at Michigan State University pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology. I am originally from the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania. This will be my fifth year at MSU, and I'm loving every minute of it!
Ever since I was little, it has been my dream to work in the field of veterinary medicine. Now, I am finally taking the steps toward making this dream a reality! In the Spring of 2009, I was accepted into Michigan State's Veterinary Technology Program, and I began my training in the Fall of 2009. I will graduate with a degree in Veterinary Technology and Zoology in the Spring of 2013 (if everything goes as planned).
I just wanted to begin by saying what an amazing opportunity these last three years have been! Through the Veterinary Technology program, I have learned so much more than I could have ever imagined about the field of veterinary medicine. It truly amazes me how each and every day brings something new and exciting to the plate. I have truly found my passion in life, and I continue to live each day to the fullest.
It is my hope that as I continue learning, I am able to share this knowledge with those around me. I have created this page as a tool to share my experiences, both as a pet owner and as a part of the veterinary community.
